[HC] livecard error? "http://http://"

I am playing with livecard on my localhost. The last time I used livecard (on a different computer) I did not have this error:

livecard generates links in the form of: "http://http://";

Has anyone else ever run into this? I tried looking on google.

Thanks!

Safari is currently set up to deduce that a web link should be preceded by http:// as a default -- e.g. I can link to apple.com and Safari will put in the appropriate prefix. It usually does this in an intelligent way. I am wondering if there is something in your livecard setup or a Safari preference that has caused Safari to think that the link needs prefixing?

Possibly way off the mark, but it might be an alternative worth checking out.

John

Well, the thing is I am using iCab and Netscape 4.8 under macos classic 7.5..5, not safari. I don't think it's my browser, because mousing over the link gets http://http://url.LiveCard.acgi in my status bar. Any other ideas?
