Dear HyperCard die-hards,
I forget who it was, but someone asked me to share:
a) pantechnicon's files - stacks/etc (152MB)

b) pantechnicon's pmWiki files (7MB)
I have found them. They are now available. Who wants them?
I miss y'all,
Alain

Hello, I would definitely be interested in getting both the pantechnicon's files and the pmWiki files.
What would be the best way to send them?

Hi Andrew,
I am sending it to you via Files For Friends.

If you can get the pmWiki up-and-running, I would appreciate a copy of it that I can edit.
My intention is to extract the information, then delete each page as I am done.
Thanks Andrew,
Alain

It wasn't me. But why are you not using LiveCode?

Hello everyone,
To Dunbar: I am using LiveCode.
To Gene Henley and DTS: I wish you had spoken-up earlier. It would have been easier. The service provided a URL for subsequent downloads, but it's a httpS and Yahoo Mail thinks it is suspicious of me to mail this to a mailing-list, or even to individuals at this point.

To Andrew Ferguson: you have received the files by now. Please confirm, and share with others.

Hi Alain,

Could you send the link without the https in front of the link and break it
with a ~dot~ or ~slash~ etc. Or Andrew, please pass on the link. Thanks.

For those who have requested them,
You can download the Pantechnicon's files, with the following URL.
Yahoo still flagging this as suspicious, so I broke it down.

put "https://"; into myURL
put "www." after myURL
put "filestofriends" after myURL
put ".com/" after myURL
put "complete.aspx" after myURL
put "?" after myURL
put "code=" after myURL
put "b19db83c8e954646b3fe5ca78bf5157c" after myURL
return myURL

lol, awesome, I put it together in LiveCode's message box, but the last
line was "ask "" with myURL" so I could copy it. =)

Here is the link shortened:

Hello DTS and y'all,
The last line of the script should have been: put myURL -- (into message box of-course).

For the more-ambitious, you could get the URL and save it as a file (from within handler).
N.B.: With the service, the availability of the download is time-limited; so act on this asap.

Hello, I have tried to download the files, but one of them has reached the max download limit. Also, I cannot access the website currently - it has been banned by my school.
Would it be possible for someone to put the files up on dropbox, or email them to me so I can put them on dropbox?
Thanks,
Andrew

I have mirrored the files here:

http://www.kreativekorp.com/swdownload/pantechnicon/

Once I find some time I'll crack open the archives and do something with
the creamy center. :)

Hi Alain, Do you know what version of pmWiki was working with the Pantechnicon? And do you have you any idea why it is not working?
Also, by looking at conversations on this group, it appears there was a working version of the Pantechnicon online at http://pantechnicon.runrev.info/ http://pantechnicon.runrev.info/pmwiki.php? in 2010. Does anyone have any information on what happened to this? (It appears that Pantechnicon.org still redirects to pantechnicon.runrev.info).
Thanks,
Andrew

Hello Pantechnicon enthusiasts,
I don't remember which version of pmWiki, but it is very old (nineties).

I don't remember precisely why it stopped working but was indeed defective.
I was not aware of working version of Pantechnicon online at http://pantechnicon.runrev.info/
Un-related to the Pantechnicon that I hosted, as far as I know.
I am sharing these files with you on an as-is basis.
They are presently being hosted by DropBox.
Interested parties have been invited to download it.
Hope you will find them useful,
Alain
