Does anyone know how many issues were produced of Windoid, the HyperCard newsletter? Not being around when it was produced, I have no idea how many were actually produced. Looking online, I can find 8 (issues 0 to 7), but does anyone know if any more were written, and if so, where I can find them?

I never heard of windoid as a journal but if I recall rightly "royalsoft", which also iirc was known as "heizer software" produced an xcmd for windoids, so those are two possible search terms which might help
"Ro Nagy" may also be a useful term, sinc he is apparently why it was called "royalsoft".

Good luck!

I don't think that is the one I am looking for. I am looking for the one produced by the HyperCard development team. The first issue is available here:

I have 10 issues listed on my server. As I remember, Ro Nagy worked for Heizer Software ( Ray Heizer ) and may have started his own company to sell some of the items after Ray moved on to other things. I had one stack that I sold through Heizer Software. My late father laughed when I told him about the occasional checks that came in saying "They keep you in booze..."

Good times.

If you can send me your email address ( can you do pm on Yahoo ? ) I can attempt to package and send you the stacks I have.

Best Regards,
Rory

When Ray decided to retire, he sold the company to Ro, who was a newcomer
to HyperCard. Ro renamed the company Royal Software, then abandoned it
shortly after.

I bought the last version of CompileIt from him. AOL delivered a binhexed version of the file broken into two pieces (separate emails). It took me hours to finally extract it.
